Lipo B-12 Injections
What is Lipo B-12 used for?
Lipotropic injections help release fat deposits in some parts of the body and can be administered weekly. The amino acids injected into the body stimulate the liver to optimize the metabolic process, boosting the body's metabolic power. Lipo B contains substances like B12, levocarnitine, methionine, inositol, choline, vitamin B6, and dexpanthenol. Effects are temporary, so consistency matters.
Vitamin B12
B12 is used in the metabolism of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates, and is involved in making DNA, necessary for producing healthy new cells. It helps keep the body's nerves and blood cells healthy and lowers homocysteine levels, a protein associated with increased risk of heart attack, stroke, and dementia. It's often used to give an energy boost. While B12 is found naturally in a healthy diet, stress and poor eating habits can lead to a deficiency.
Possible side effects
Potential side effects can include stomach upset, urinary problems, temporary exhaustion, or joint and injection-site pain. Call your provider immediately if you experience signs of an allergic reaction: wheezing, chest tightness, fever, itching, a bad cough, blue skin color, fits, or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, as well as chest pain or pressure, fast heartbeat, severe dizziness, or severe headache.
