Laser and Cryotherapy Treatment Of Acne
There are a number of procedures that can be done to treat acne, including laser and laser-like procedures, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, Cryotherapy, and surgery to remove the scars. The treatment that is right for you will depend on how active your acne is, the amount of scarring you have, and your skin type.
Cryotherapy is a dry ice treatment that helps to reduce acne, acne scars, shrink pores, and seals off the skin to reduce future acne. The procedure consists of nitrogen applied with a cotton-tip applicator or cryoprobe to the needed areas which causes the pimples to freeze and fall off like dead skin. Cryotherapy is a well-known treatment for acne and a relatively inexpensive procedure.
