Does microneedling hurt?
Not in the least! Our microneedling treatments are ideal for non-surgical and non-ablative treatment of various skin conditions such as aging (wrinkles, stretching), scarring (acne, surgical), and dyschromia. The feeling associated with microneedling is similar to sandpaper being moved across the skin. While some areas are more sensitive than others, the speed of the reciprocating cartridge tip makes the treatment more comfortable. The procedure takes 15-45 minutes depending on the size of the area treated. We also apply a topical numbing agent 20-30 minutes prior to your treatment to lessen the discomfort.

Chemical peels generally result in mild to moderate peeling for about one to three days post application.
Peeling can range from sloughing with a light peel from one to five days with day three and four being the peak of the peeling with moderate peels.
